Courier is looking for an experienced Digital Editor to execute our editorial strategy across our growing digital channels, from our website and podcasts to email newsletters. This is a key role in a fast-growing media company.
You’ll work alongside Courier’s editorial and design teams to bring our print magazine’s content to life in digital formats. You’ll manage our website content and help commission and oversee new stories, using every multimedia tool at your disposal. You’ll also oversee and grow our podcast and email newsletter teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital storytelling, with previous experience at a magazine or media company preferred.
The successful candidate will be based in London.
What you’ll do:
➯ Oversee the day-to-day execution of Courier’s editorial strategy across our growing digital channels, from web and audio to email
➯ Package, optimise and publish content from our bi-monthly print magazine for our web and digital audiences
➯ Brainstorm and commission fresh stories and engaging digital content
➯ Develop exciting digital storytelling formats and work with the senior editorial and design teams to bring them to life
➯ Monitor and analyse metrics to boost engagement across our web, audio and email content
➯ Share best practices for digital publishing when working with Couriers’ editors and designers
